lalaCDRip is a multiprocessing CD Ripper written in Perl. the features are:

• multiprocessing (lalaCDRip is able to encode more than 1 wave File simultaneously => SMP machines)
• the mp3 files contains ID3v1 + ID3v2 tags (ID3 data is fetched with the Perl module CDDB_get)
• encode starts during the CD gets grabbed
• you can use IDE or SCSI CD-Roms, and cdda2wav or dagrab.
